I think that slick black color against the white siding is a great look. Very nice choice by the homeowner.

I had to tell this lazy fig tree to get on it! I threatened to have Jesus wither it if it did not give me fruit this year. Praise God because I see figs!

Transparency Post:

First, I want to thank everyone who has supported us so far on our journey to a more self sustaining and healthy type of living! Along with that, I wanted to tell you how we raise our broilers. We feed our broilers a Nutrena product called Meatbird 22% Poultry Feed Crumble from the day of arrival until the day before butchering. It is made with natural ingredients *As defined by AAFCO (American Association of Feed Control Officials).
This year, with this poultry feed, we have been able to raise up to 6 pound whole chickens in just 8 weeks. In addition to the new chicken tractors allowing them to scratch through fresh grass and clover to find great treats like flowers, wild strawberries, and bugs galore! Plus, nothing goes to waste. Moving the chicken tractors twice a day spreads free fertilizer onto our pasture to make the grass better in the future. We try our best to do our part to be good stewards of the resources we've been blessed with. The health and well-being of my family, the animals and plants we grow, and our community are at the top of our list of properties.

Talking about rising from the ashes!
In the winter, I burn all the dead stuff out of our asparagus beds before they start to grow again. In the picture, you can see the new stalk came right out of the dried and burned husk from last year! I have never seen this before, and I wanted to share it with yall. I think we can all learn something from this little asparagus. #gardening #asparagus #backfromthedead

We raise our broilers in chicken tractors
that get moved twice a day. This gives
the chickens fresh new ground to
pick through and removes any need
for cleaning a pen! Each tractor has a
10'x<12' footprint (120sqft), giving up
to 60 birds, plenty of space to roam
(we only do groups of 30 at a time).
Recommend housing requirements are
1.5 - 2 sqft per bird. I pray we give these
animals, the best life possible while they
are under my care.

What are your hours? or Are walk-ins welcome?

Farm Hours: Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM Appointments only please. No store front location for walk-ins.
How do you raise your chickens?

Our chickens are started out in brooders from hatch until about 3 weeks, depending on the weather and feathering of the birds. As soon as possible they go into mobile tractors and are rotated on fresh grass, being moved twice each day. They are fed a non-medicated broiler feed front start to finish. Can I request a custom order?

Custom orders of poultry products or body care products are welcome. To do so please reach out to us so we can discuss the details.
Is lawn care provided all year?

Yes! There is always a good time to do something in your yard. Aerating is great in Fall and fertilizing in the Spring. We can help you with year round yard tasks and projects!
Do you provide other services than those on the Services Page?

We do offer other services under what we call handyman services. Some examples of this might be pressure washing decks and driveways or changing a door knob. We can do a long list of things excluding plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
